Mule Deer Hunting with Mighty Peace Outfitting - Black Bear Hunting and Moose Hunting in Northern Alberta Canada

To ensure your black bear hunt is firmly booked we require a 10% deposit on the total cost price of the hunt and 40% to be paid 90 days prior to the hunt. The remainder of the fees (50%) to be paid upon arrival.

Payment can be made by personal cheque, money order or bank draft in US Funds.

Upon receipt of your deposit a form will be sent to you requesting information that will be required in order for us to purchase your hunting licence. This form can be e-mailed or sent to you by regular mail.

The balance of the cost price of your hunt is due in full prior to beginning the hunt. No personal cheques please.

We ask that you plan to arrive the day before your hunt begins. This will give us an opportunity to get acquainted and provide some time for you to unwind at camp after your trip. Then you can sight in your rifle or bow. The excitement is about to begin!

Derrel has been guiding for black bear since 1980. He started out with some wall tents, an old argo and five hunters. Working hard on his guiding service and upgrading his equipment over the years, Derrel has made Mighty Peace Outfitting a thriving and successful family business.

Camp

There won't be much time to sleep but when you do we have two comfortable 10' by 48' trailers that you can bunk down in. These trailers can accommodate 8 hunters. Or we have 10' by 20' for smaller groups or for more private accommodation. We also utilize 12' by 14' wall tents in the spike camps in remote areas. These tents are heated and have bunk beds.

Equipment to Bring

30-06 up to 338 caliber rifle - if you are coming in a group you may want to bring an extra gun, just in case.
extra string, sight pins etc. for bow hunters, just in case
sleeping bag and pillow
hunting cloths and rain gear
good pair of waterproofed boots
day pack with compass, waterproof matches, sharp knife, binoculars, camera etc.
